This is a pic of our first day's limit in the Oklahoma Panhandle. It took me, Cuz and the GSP about an hour to get these birds. The snow two days earlier sure helped the birds stick. We had a bad hatch this year and lots of older hunt wisened birds from last year to chase. I used the Citori White Lightning in 16ga to bust my limit. Real sweet pheasant gun.

Congratulations on a successful hunt. That's a fine looking German Shorthair. Did the season just open recently? If so that's the latest opener I have heard of for anything.

Our season opened on Dec. 1st, sorry about that. The horns are for rattling. One more week and we get to chase the roosters again. Try out the new Citori Superlight this time.
