L. David KeithMore duck & goose calls
Most of these I bought last year at the NWTF auction.
Group pics of some of my calls
Matched set of 4 calls by Bob Hayes. Barrels are turned from Rosewood. Inserts are turned from Black Pearl Acrylic. SR duck, DR duck, Short Reed Canada goose & Specklebelly goose.
5 call set by B. D. Phillips. Exotic burly hardwood with Rosewood inserts. Brass bands. Included are: Duck-single reed timber, open water, mid range & double reed timber. Goose call is a short reed.
Close up of one of the duck calls
Mini call by Todd Hanson
Deluxe duck call by Severen Pedersen of CO. Beautiful call. He uses exotic hardwoods and his finish matches the finest double rifles.
Another call by Pedersen. Hand checkered. This call falls into his Custom Grade Royale Deluxe calls.
Severen Pedersen's top call: Exhibition Grade Royale Deluxe Duck Call. Inlaid silver mallards and cattails. His concept came from Richard Bishop's "In they come" which was later reproduced as "Pitchin' In." The barrel is exhibition grand American black walnut. Accent caps are Gabon ebony. Same for stopper (insert & tone board). Reed: Mylar double. Color scheme is Winchester Highlight. Overall length: 5.25 inches. Sound signature: Raspy Hen Mallard.
Pair of burly Tiger Stripe Maple with purple acrylic inserts by Bob Hayes. 1 duck, 1 goose call. I used this duck call in Arkansas this year. It's a screamer! Both have his signature silver barbed wire bands.
Custom call I had Buddy Duke make for me in 1984. Puddle Duck was the name of his calls. African Blackwood & Ebony. Brass band with my initials.
Other calls shown but not up close: Heavy Duty by my friend Howard Harlan. Reelfoot style metal reed by R. Stoeber. Single reed Arkansas style by Ron Douda, signed. SR AR style by Bill Reed, 1 of 1 signed. Reelfoot style metal reed by Bear Kraet, signed. Single reed by Roger Lavers, signed. Exotic, burly hardwood SR Goose call by Chuck Wais, signed. Cocobolo & Persimmon w/brass band single reed AR style call by Brad R. Sangle, branded Blindsided Calls. Sometime I'll try and photo my Charles Amaden Hambone's, Chick Majors "Dixie Mallard," Old South Supreme, Sharpy Shaw, Johnny Marsh and others.
Enjoy,
LDK

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......
