I just spent 2 days hunting Partridge in Spain and was surprised at the duifficulty in shooting these birds. They looked similar to the Chuckers that are found in the Western U.S. but have a rust color on their lower body. The terrain they inhabit would be perfect for Mtn. Goats and they flush really wild. Usually the blockers are way downhill from the flush and they pass you like little jets at speeds that exceed anything I have seen in the bird shooting here in the USA. I certainly didn't hurt the population any but had great fun with the local hunters that I hunted with. Has anyone else on this forum hunted these little speedsters? Hawkeye47

Hey Hawk, I used to shoot these birds in Cyprus in the same terrain. I believe the birds are still a type of Chukar, as they differ from our red legs we have in the UK. Either way they really shift!!! FB
