One of Us |
Last year we booked a hunt with Pinfeathers & Hackle (Steve Chorney) in Wildwood, Alberta and paid for 4 Hunters to hunt geese and ducks September 18-22, 2005. Shortly before we left for the hunt,we received a call from Steve Chorney and he informed us of a train derailment and oil spill that in effect cancelled the hunt we had already paid for. Steve assured us he would refund the money for the hunt due to the oil spill, and also offered us a free goose hunt next year for our inconvenience. We have repeatedly tried to contact Steve Chorney to find out the details of the refund, as well as details for the trip planned for the following year (2006). I have 3-4 phone numbers for Steve and Pinfeathers & Hackle, however, no one ever answers the phone, and if the phone is answered, it goes directly to voice mail. We have literally left HUNDREDS of messages and e-mails for Mr. Chorney to call us back, and still have not received a refund for the hunt or as much as a phone call from Steve Chorney. We are told by the Alberta Outfitters Association that we are not the first group to file a complaint against Mr. Chorney for non-performance and non-refunding. ______________________ RMEF Life Member SCI DRSS Chapuis 9,3/9,3 + 20/20 Simson 12/12/9,3 Zoli 7x57R/12 Kreighoff .470/.470 We band of 9,3ers!
