My nephew is wanting to go to Argentina and hunt the Geese there. Who has a good hunt that a working kid can aford? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Try contacting Trek International Safaris. I hunted with their outfitter in the Rio Gallegos area, far south parallel to the Faulklands. Great shooting for magellan and asheyhead geese.

It is no limit shooting and common to harvest truckloads of birds.

The cost may be a little on the high side for a young man. Maybe uncle could help. Trek, however, does provide upper scale facilities and excellent outfitters.

We hunt geese in the patagonia mostly in my wifes family lands in the area of choele choel where peter capstick hunted ,the zone is a paradise and you can combine it with wildboar,partrige,red stag and the dangerous baguales.juan

Scruffy there are 3 types of geese or cauquen in argentina ,the red geese o cauquen,banned ,the greyhead ,and the common cauquen.They are in such high number that they are considered plagues in the past centuries .Now thanks to the hunters the ranches dont kill them anymore with planes,or another nonsporting methods. juan

That would be the best of times, a goose hunt down there !

Please e-mail me with your information on your goose Hunts in Patagonia. How many Hunters do you normally take at one time. I might be able to get a group together if the price is right. I can't find anything on your web page about the Patigonia Hunts.
