Done Uruguay and Argentina many times. Anyone done Bolivia and / or Paraguay? I'm looking specifically at Bolivia pigeon options.

What outfitter or company did you use in Paraguay?

xxxxxxxxxx
When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Jim:

Same question. Who did you use in Paraguay? Impressions? Lodging, ammo, gun, flight issues?

Thanks....TWL

I have hunted Bolivia three times with La Leyenda Lodge a couple of hours out of Santa Cruz. Hunted mostly Mennonite farms and have had excellent shooting for both dove and pigeon. I think Frontiers books for them... Carlos and Olga are super nice folks.

Going to have to think about that for a while, can't remember but I think we booked it through Jack Jansma's "Wingshooting adventures"

I've hunted twice in Paraguay, with Hans and Manfred Enns out of Filadephia. Tremendous hunting for pigeon on both trips. Not sure if they are still doing hunts. If not, I imagine Erik von Sneidern is running hunts near there.

I'd take a hard look at Bolivia as well, maybe this place: http://pigeonbolivia.com/en/

I lived in Bolivia 5 years. Great pigeon shooting outside Santa Cruz. Also good brocket deer and jabali hunting. I saw the biggest puma I have ever seen in that area but unfortunately I had a shotgun with bird loads when he casually walked by me at about 10 yards distance. I would love to go back and visit friends and do some hunting but that is not possible as long as Evo is in charge.
