Speaking of teal medicine our teal season opens this weekend. Should I use a 12 or a 20 and what size shot do you recommend?

I suppose I'd suggest you use whatever you shoot best as far as gauge, but for my teal hunting up here in the marshes I use a 12 bore with 3" #4s of plain old steel. Works quite well.

For Teal...12ga 3" #4 steel and MOD or Lt MOD choke.

Headed for Choke Canyon for Teal on Wed the 16, hopefully the next wave of birds come through by then.

As for the ammo, I'm ready for 'em...if they're still available.
