I see that you were shooting a 20b, how is your gun choked and what shells (shot size and weight) were you using.

Yes indeed I was Shooting a 20 bore. 1923 Boss sidelock, sweet little shotgun choked 1/4 and 1/2. Eley fiber wad paper cased 25 gram 5s. Paper cartridges do not expand as much as plastic and dont stick in the chambers of an old gun like plastic can do. Do the business nicely.
Birds were wonderful - I guess 30 to 50 odd yards up so there was a good mix. But fast !

A couple of years ago we put together a group shoot in the UK. 2 formal days, 3 evenings duck flighting, 1 rough day and a day of high volume crows! Not a business / profit just a fun week of likeminded people enjoying British wingshooting at its best. And it was not that expensive.
Maybe we should think about doing it again in 2018 in combination with a couple of London days and visits to some of the gun makers !

You can put together a week of mixed formal, rough, flighting and a days ferreting for around GBP 2.500 w/o accommodation.
4-5?good days of shooting.
