I recently did a Gould’s hunt in Mexico with Wade Lemon Hunting. The hunting was fantastic. We whacked 9 long beards in a day and a half between 4 of us .

Guides were good . Food was good. Lodging was good. Driving SUCKED! Winding mountain road are no fun. Driving the dirt roads was incredibly bumpy.

The terrain was magnificent yet brutal. I had no idea Mexico had such brutal mountains.

Would I do it again? Absolutely.

Will post some pics later.

Larry, What a great picture and what looks like a huge bird ! Wow ! Thanks for posting really appreciate that. You keep the beard and the tail for mounting or do you do the full turkey ?

Shotgun or small bore ?

Nothing like that whatsoever in Europe!

All taken with a shotgun.
