Are any of you familiar with a youth skeet league in the Katy, Tx area. I would like to get my son started.

Have your son go out with the old guys, they'll love him being around. My dad started me shooting trap when I was 9, and to this day I have more friends 2 or 3 times my age than my own! Your son might be intimidated at first by the older fellows, but he will get over it, and like I said, they'll welcome him with open arms. The older guys will be able to help him out a good bit, too, just make sure he doesn't take his advice from everyone (a lot of it could conflict with each other and his style of shooting), just from 1 or 2 of the best shooters that are usually there when you and he shoot together. Have fun, I know you both will.
