Had a good day on the last day of the season. Me and Shooter went out to a friend's property that has a small pond that tends to get some good action late in the season. We got there early as duck hunters tend to do and set up and waited. At first light two mallards showed up and I took the greenhead then about five minutes later a lone drake green winged teal came in. Then there was a long wait of a couple of hours then came a rain of ring necks and two shots got three splashes. I had my limit. After all of that I decided to go for a little stroll around the property because I will occasionally scare up a snipe or two but I have never been able to connect with one. Today was different though I flushed one up and took one shot and took him down.

Shooter proud of his days work.

Bonus of the day snipe.

Shooter likes so show this one to his friends so that they think he did all the work.
