Looking for some private land to hunt in North Dakota for pheasants. Trespass fee okay as long as it is not exorbitant. Just me and one other guy and my setter. Middle part of October . Want to hunt by ourselves and not with a group. any help much appreciated. Could also swap hunting trip in MT for deer or antelope.

Check with the Chamber of Commerce in the area you would like to hunt.

I hunted near Kulm a couple years ago....if you don't show up during deer season people are very willing to let you hunt. I was shocked how polite and apologetic they were when they explained if it wasn't opening weekend for deer you'd be more than welcome. Mistake I made was letting a buddy make the plans and set dates.

It was the end of the pheasant season too by then and we saw 20 hens to every cock. Hell I see more pheasants on my bud's farm in Billings every year than I did in ND.
