two things, im thinking of purchassing a g3 gator tuff camo 16 foot 52 inch wide bottom jon with yamaha jet 60-40.. any input very welcome.. alos i need some river hunting tactics so i know what boat setup ill need for waterfowel and fly fishing.. thanks dave..

The type of river you hunt could play a major role in answering your question. Big water? Dog or not? Shallow & rocky? Feeding area or just resting? That said I like to use as portable a blind as possible, but then I go as light as possible no matter what the game. Natural vegetation is always better than netting, etc. but not always doable.
