Happy Happy Happy. 23 pounds gutted, just over 10" beard (the turkey, not me)....wait till you see these spurs!

1 1/2" right and left....

I have killed a few birds but these spurs are a freak show for me. Never shot one like it.

Weighty bird, never seen so much breast fat on a turkey either. Into the pot pie he goes...

What a great day, Thanks for lookin. Spring Turkey hunting stirs me up! Big Grin

Yikes. That thing qualifies as dangerous game.

ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.
