I have a Perazzi that i do not want to shoot steel through but i will be at a place this weekend that does not allow lead. I found some copper plated steel and was curious if anyone has opinions on it. Is the copper plating enough to ensure no bore damage. My chokes are 20k and 32k. Appreciate any advice. ok to PM me if you wish. York, SC

NO !! The copper plating is there ONLY to prevent rusting of the steel pellets. If the gun is not meant for steel don't use it with steel. There are other non-lead pellets perhaps the manufacturer can suggest what type is OK in there guns.

Not no, but hell no....use bismuth. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.
