butchlocsask hunt
just back from getting in way of the geese in sask. did well on specks and cranes. the ducks had fled the area the week before, and snows, while lots of them, are getting so shy from getting shot at 9 months of the year that they just don't come in unless you like to set a 1000 decoys or the like. toward the end of the week the specks were disappearing to the south and none of the northern birds were down yet. Thursday the cranes fled to the south leaving us with pretty much just specks, which we were already limited out on. Soon as the weather chases the northerns down shooting should be wonderful

L. David KeithLots of birds in AR right now. I think every Speck in North America has landed there...lol. Sounds like you had a great trip however

We open in the morning with temps expected to be 20-22° with a South wind

Hoping they are wrong and we get a NW or NE wind, but it will probably be NO WIND...lol

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......
"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
