I don't hunt ducks. I didn't get to see the pictures. But if it was as good as you said it was, I'd like to know where you hunted. Any harm in knowing that? Laguna Madre is a great place to whack ducks. I did some myself near Rockport on the 22nd. Never ceases to amaze me how many Redheads show up just after ya shoot your limit for the day. If you are talking about the one in the corner on what looks like a stump, it is an Old Squaw or Long tailed duck. The one just to the right of it is a scoter of some sort. Even the rocks don't last forever. | |||

L to R....Old Squaw, white-winged scoter, common eider, common scoter and surf scoter. Not terribly uncommon to shoot all of those on the same day in these parts. | |||
