NortonDon't you get bored of killing so many birds every time you go out?

Lucky bastard. Nice season.

nubeAt times I do believe it or not. That is why I didn't guide much this year. I mostly guided the spec and Snow goose hunts this year and enjoyed doing the spotting for the guides the rest of the time. It was a nice change up this year. Maybe I am just getting old and need to slow down a bit. Another 4 years and I will be 40

It truly was a great year and I expect next season to be better. I'd love to see some pictures guys if you are getting out much. We have been done since the middle of October already and I am starting to miss it already!

PalmerVery impressive. It looks like pictures from 80 years ago. Do the hunters take all that meat home?

nubeIf they want to take it home it is not hard to do so. The ones that don't take it gets used up real fast. I didn't have any left 3 weeks after i was done and I imagine most of it is eaten by now. I should learn to keep a couple bags of it for myslef but have had so many people that wnated it.

RHKIn my opinion - ya can't beat smoked goose breast...good eats when its done right. Another thing that we have been doing is mixing some goose meat into our sausage recipes. Sounds crazy, but its a good way to use up goose meat; if you don't go carzy on the ratios, a little mixed into a breakfast sauasage works good and gives it a alittle extra flavor!
