I've been trying out Hevi-Steel 3" 1 1/8oz. #2's, with an advertised 1550fps, on Canada geese for the last couple weeks.

Hevi-Steel- Cabelas

This stuff is deadly, this morning it was 4 shots for 4 geese, the limit. Folds em' right up out to 40+ yards.

And at $18 for a box of 25 it's affordable, but I be needing a couple bags of it for reloading. My Ponsness Warren 375 is hungry.

I'm thinking the 4's and 6's in a speedy handload are gonna be death on ducks.

I had some out the other day I wasn't impressed hit a big canada twice with that load and watched him fly off.

Hevi shot works better I guess that I have a box I might have to give it another try.

Im with p dog, I wasent impressed either. I see no difference at all. Shot a limit of mallards (5), canadas (3) and a few snows today and am going to stick with my 3 1/2" reloads of 1 1/4 oz. of BB's moving at 1625.
