I’m looking to meet a friend in Nebraska for some pheasant hunting . He’s from Idaho I live in Oklahoma so that’s about midway.

Looking for a guide for a couple of days nothing fancy any suggestions?

Or Kansas. I live in Idaho I thought Kansas was better for pheasants and they have wild Bobwhites. Just a suggestion.

Never hunted Nebraska, but wasn't the Grand Island area known for pheasants?

Have hunted KS at Salina and out west at Sublette (we had guys from OK City who hunted Salina with us). It's up and down depending on the year. KS has a website with pheasant predictions. Would urge you to check it out. Nebraska might or might not have one too. Also I'd call their wildlife dept and ask for advice. Most states are pretty good about that and don't mind talking to you and telling you the best places.

But for pheasants the consensus is, SD is king. You can do it yourself there or use a guide.

I've also hunted Iowa pheasants and that had a big reputation at one time. Still not bad. The Spirit Lake area was my favorite.

Any of those make a great, fun trip.
