We shot snow geese for the first time this week. They were in by the hundreds of thousands. They were feeding in the farm fields up in the delta. We were able to set out a few rag decoys and were able to find cover in a woodline. The next day we were able to shoot them over water. This was my first trip up there this year and hopefully not the last.

It is really something to see that many geese!I live near a migration route,i swear there are more white geese every year.The federal govt is at a loss of how to manage the population.The big fear is disease that will spread to other waterfoul and the recovery of the tundra habitat.Good luck on your hunting 300magman and spread the word.
