I spent the last days of the 2013 duck season in Arkansas where uncountable numbers of geese winter but ducks were on the menu those days. I took a fine trophy Bluebill (lesser Scaup) drake and Mark took a super drake Goldeneye but our last morning ended with limits of Gadwall and he took a 13 pound giant Canada which he stoned with one shot...then his gun failed and the other 3 flew off in a hurry. Now it's time to dress some fine table fare. Conservation season for light geese is just a few days away! LDK

L. David KeithThanks Norton. No Patricio, I have two in the freezer from this year. I'll be glad to take one but they are frozen with head tucked into their wing. I have one I mounted back in 1973 in a flying position if you want, I'll take a pic of that one.

L. David KeithSorry for the slow reply Juan, but thank you. Green Head Gear (GHG) just released their new Pro grade Gadwall decoys and I'm going to add a half dozen to my continuing flock of deke's. We used Mallard decoys on this hunt and the "grey ducks" where just a little shy. Didn't keep us from taking our limit, but I believe "When in Rome, dress like Roman's" might be the ticket next season. Good hunting, David
