| I saw a Canadian fishing show the other day where the guys were in Cuba, and boy they were spanking some giant tarpon. Wish DC and Havana would get things sorted out so we could all go there if we wanted to.

| @larryshores Bahama Pintail is also known as White-cheeked Pintail which is also found in Argentina...so same bird just a different sub-species. Now the Cuban Whistling Duck is not found in Argentina at all. You are probably thinking of the Fulvous Whistling Duck which is found in Argentina but it is much smaller than the Cuban Whistling Duck in size. Here is the Fulvous Whistling Duck, very different coloration from the Cuban and sizewise it is much smaller also. The Cuban is just a monster. |
