Interesting photo showing the shot swarm and the 1st pellets actually striking the bird. Pic was taken at a tower shoot but don't know any of the other details ... must have been a fast shutter speed as the blur of the pellets is short.

graybirdVery cool picture indeed! It is hard to tell from the picture, but it appears to me that the majority of the shot pattern is going to be behind the bird. Regardless, it loks as if enough shot will hit the bird.

DB BillThat was my first impression also but the bird was flying directly toward the shooter and the camera was off to the side so I think the shot was probably a little low.
I'll post some others soon.
