Friends,

I went with a close friend, his son and his future son in law (a nice way of evaluating whether a guy is good enough for your daughter, I guess) on a duck and goose hunt to the Wolf River Bottoms hunting grounds here in North East Wisconsin.

We got two ducks before a huge number of hunters came there later in the evening and though we stayed almost until it turned dark, did not get any geese. All in all, it was a fantastic day and I shall cherish the memories until I die.

BTW the prospective son in law passed with flying colours as he invited us to a hunt on his family's property at Bear Creek during deer season.
