The crows have been getting at the corn and doing some damage, so we had an early morning up and at them.
Beautiful sunrise with lots of air traffic (sic people flying again!). Birds decoyed in pretty well plus some
calling and we managed a bag into double figures. Was a fun mornings sport with my son and our Springer. Shooting an Aya 20 bore side lock and 26 g Eleys.

Most folks don't realize how much fun can be had hunting crows! Set up an owl and several crow decoys and hit the caller. It's a blast!

My neighbor has a pecan orchard down in the valley behind me. Give it about another month + the crows should start coming in. It is a blast, literally!
