Gents,

In your experience, what is the best time of year to go dove hunting in Cordoba? My wife and I are trying to plan a trip to coincide with a cruise of the Galapagos Islands off of Ecuador in 2014, so I am looking for suggestions...

Their late fall or winter, which is basically April to September. Cooler and a time when most US seasons are closed. AFA actual shooting opportunities it doesn't really matter if you have a good outfitter.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

I hunted Cordoba area in late February. Dove were abundant to say the least. The weather was very pleasant. I am going back in early December and taking my son and daughter to enjoy the best dove hunting on the planet.

I have been in January, February, July and August. Tons of birds each time.

The company that I go with (Los Chanares) closes down for a few weeks in our spring as the birds move off. I think it is part of March and April. I would have to check to make sure.
