I have listed in the AR classified section a like-new, signed and numbered (no. 92 of 250) deluxe first edition copy of Terry Wieland's Spanish Best book on shotguns, and I've reduced the price to less than half of what this book is worth. I've reduced it a bunch and no one seems interested. If it were a collectible big bore rifle book or an African elephant hunting book by well-known author , it would have sold in the first 24 hours. Any ideas where I might sell it? Bill Quimby

There's a Spanish gun group on Yahoo - might try them. Also one on Shotgunworld. You can also list it on Amazon A book is "worth" what someone will pay for it, not what someone lists it for online. By the way, where is the classifieds section on AR? Oxon

Thanks. The AR classified forum is near the bottom of the main menu, under "Other Topics" and between "Humor" and "Books and Videos." ' I've found the internet book dealer sites to be a good source of estimates of value for popular titles, but I think the problem is there are few true rare book collectors on AR, especially those who are interested in fine shotguns or wingshooting. The number of AR forums on the various types of rifles vs. only a couple of forums on bird hunting and none (that I cold find at least) on shotguns seems proof enough of this. Bill Quimby

Thanks for the tip about Yahoo's Spanish gun forum. I posted a note that said the book was offered for sale on the AR classified forum, and the book sold five minutes later. Bill Quimby
