Teal season in Louisiana opened September 13th and has been excellent so far. We have taken nearly 150 teal so far and have been leaving them flying. The season ends this weekend.

Hopefully duck season will be as successful.

Lucky dude... slow in south Texas so far. Send 'em my way Mikey!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Lucky you. The reports I've been getting on the east side of the state have been dismal at best. Work and daddy duty have hampered my ability to test the waters myself.

You're soon to have delicious teal gumbo as cool weather arrives.

Good luck with the rest of the season!

Our lease south of 90 near Franklin has been real slow.

The teal hunting is great on our lease near Ville Platte. Very fortunate.

Our season ends tomorrow, but today was my last day of hunting. We killed three limits today and enjoyed a very good hunt.

My chocolate male, Max retrieved all 18 birds.

Nice haul o' teal! Love shooting 'em cuz they drop even if the pellets don't actually hit 'em and they keep coming back for more. rotflmo
