Thinking about my T/C barrel in 45 LC. I have a 250 gr pentagon HP. I would like some loads for the T/C with a powder that can better use the 12" length. They might be carried in the New Ruger Vaquero as backup for a quick second shot or a finish shot. The point is the T/C. TIA. Packy

The limiting point is the Vaquero, because I am pretty sure the max level load will determined by the new model Vaquero. Going to be an issue of "stocking" two different loads or loading to the "max" for the Vaquero and accepting that in the TC. Guess it depends what your planned use is for the guns. It would be interesting to see if you can develop a load that is precise in both and how much performance the TC's added length will add. Don't limit your challenges . . . Challenge your limits

I guess that is true. Up close and personal for finish shots the lightweight Vaquero could just be stuffed with cowboy loads. I could use a medium weight WFN to be more effective and distinguishable from the HP for the T/C. Thanks Mr. Louis, You made it easy. Packy
