Just got a T/C Omega. The former owner used the white hot pellets. he swore by them. I've never used pellets of any kind. Anybody with information about them ?
Courious about shelf life, ignition, fouling etc.

I'm interested as well. Haven't found any real life feedback yet....may go look for reviews on Midway

They'll work ok, just very dirty. Have to swab the barrel every couple shots. Try BlackHorn 209. Its a lot cleaner and don't have to swab the barrel for how ever many shots you want.

Johnp, I've used the blackhorn loose powder and like it, as you alluded to it is clean burning, but do the make it in pellet form? Despite what many will argue, pellets are just darn convenient, and I really like being able to plop 3 of em, seat my bullet and rock and roll, just easier than loose powder IMO.

No sir, they do not make it in pellet form. I too, like the convenience of pellets, but the BlackHorn is just to good to change back!

Just load up a few speed loaders with powder before the hunt...just as quick to reload that way as using pellets. BH209 is the only way to go, IMO.

Just got back from shooting the Omega with the white hot pellets. Settled on 3 pellet's, and a 250 gr Shock wave Sabot. If I wiped the bore after each shot it stayed @ 7/8 - 1" every group (3shots @ 100 yd's). If I dident swab the bore the group would open to 1.5- 2". It would get tough to load for the 3rd shot. The 2nd shot with out swabbing wasent to bad to seat. Not much fouling either. I like the White hots pretty good !!
