Several years ago I used some muzzle loading bullets in sabots, (45 cal bullets in 50 cal sabots) they were solid copper (260 grain ?) with a wide hollow point and came in a pack standing on end in a circle already in the sabots. I'm thinking Barnes, discontinued maybe. Steve............ NRA Patron Life Member GOA Life Member North American Hunting Club Life Member USAF Veteran

Were they 50 caliber bullets or 45 caliber bullets in sabots? for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

Could be Barnes Expanders. They don't come in a round package though. The Sabot on the Barnes is black on the 50cal.

I am 99% sure they were Barnes in the older packaging. They were in a circle on the cardboard with the plastic shrunk over them. That 1% will get you though! God Bless, Louis
