Several years ago I used some muzzle loading bullets in sabots, (45 cal bullets in 50 cal sabots) they were solid copper
(260 grain ?) with a wide hollow point and came in a pack standing on end in a circle already in the sabots. I'm thinking Barnes, discontinued maybe.

Were they 50 caliber bullets or 45 caliber bullets in sabots?

Could be Barnes Expanders. They don't come in a round package though. The Sabot on the Barnes is black on the 50cal.

I am 99% sure they were Barnes in the older packaging. They were in a circle on the cardboard with the plastic shrunk over them.

That 1% will get you though!
