Anybody have any experience with these? I have had so much fun shooting a friends Omega I have been looking for a muzzleloader to buy. I just received a $100 GC for Cabelas and they have these smoke poles on sale for $199 marked down from $450. Sounds like a smoking deal but would really like to hear from somebody that has shot one.

I don't have any experience with the Brutus Ovation but I have heard a log of good reports from forum members about the Omega I think it would be a better choice. I do have several Knight rifles, one Lyman Great Plaines (because it is traditional style and I wanted it) and a TC Encore. I have had at least 16 other muzzle loaders in the past that were junk. The Encore I got on sale but at the time I was looking real hard at the Omega. I may yet buy one to add to my collection.
