As far as switch barrel guns go the T/C Encore system remains the gold standard. As a dedicated MLer it doesn't offer any advantage over the what is already available from T/C, Traditions or CVA's top line rifles. My $0.02 YMMV

nah, i will stick with the TC Omega. most times you get what you pay for, and guy i work with thought hed take the cheap route as he usually does, and he wound up very unhappy with his CVA (unsure which model two yrs ago). by the time he dicked around with loose, innacurate CVA and a couple of barrels, he shoulda just bought the TC. Eventually did, and he got the new budget model, forget the name of it, but he loves it.

Out Apex is a solid shooter. Not exactly set up for an open sight shooter but doable. Ours loves 100gr blackhorn209 with the 300gr powerbelt platinum. This was shot from 100 yards with the load above and open sights. ![]() We also have the 30-06 barrel and with 52 grains H4350 and the 180gr hornady tips, this sucker is accurate. It is heavy though. I was shooting my $170 CVA Wolf just yesterday with 100gr blackhorn209 and the 250gr Powerbelts. Just because the price is low doesnt mean it wont shoot. Its mainly the person behind the rifle not knowing what they are doing. 7/8" @100. ![]()
