Thanks concho! She still shoots fine,I just didnt know the life of a muzzle loader barrel.I was thinking about getting a 45cal. 0r 32.cal barrel for squirels and rabbits after deer season.Which one would you suggest? The 45.cal seems like it would be more easy available components but the 32.cal seems way cool!
Thanks for the help! thumbI will forsure clean her up good this year more than once. roflmao

Green Mountain has a sale on now don't wait ! .45 is the best with sabots it shoots .400 cal 180 gr blts that hold 1.5"at 100 yards at 50 yds same hole figure 8 will kill deer DEAD ! use hornady XTP H.P. or winchester H.P. Thompson Center Sabots, American Pioneer Powder super clean powder , I have been using Hodgton Trip 7 3F always use 3f for every caliber If you have a flintlock ? get a wooden boll and pestol and grind your own 4f from 3f powder I have 2 .58's one flint and 1 percussion 3f in both and shoots clean and very fast compared to 2f . Clean your guns and they won't fail you !
