I use FFFg in my flinter and 4f to prime with but what I also do, and you guys may think this is silly, but before I head out into the woods I remove the touch hole screw and drop a dab of 4f into the barrel after the barrel is loaded. I feel this may help in the ignition process. However I've never had a missfire just priming normal so I guess maybe its just me being paradoid that I'll have a missfire when a monster buck comes strolling by.
