Mark, Your dad isn't the only sane one out there. I know several people who do this and I must include myself in this group. Seriously, one has to be committed to such hunting in this state as the Muzzleloading Season (which was once intended to be a primitive firearms season) does not allow smoothbores! Only during the regular gun season can smoothbores (both modern cartridge shotguns and muzzleloaders) can be used. Heck, those of us committed to using our flintlock muskets must compete against those hunters using standard Foster slugs but aren't allowed to hunt when those fellows using the latest in-lines with their 3-9X scope sights! More and more though, these are the only guns that let me feel as if I'm hunting. | ||
