Blackpowder + potassium Perchlorate, sodium benzoate (sp) & sodium? dicyandiamide (sp). (Graphite for coating.)

The last 2 are minor ingredients and trade secrets. the potassium Perchlorate is an additional oxidant.

You can see/download the MSDS on Hodgdon's website.

Wouldn't sodium be pretty corrosive?

I don't know that sodium is corrosive but for sure Pyrodex is VERY corrosive, esp, the fouling. Why not use the real thing? Works better, less corrosive by a lot, and way cheaper. Also doesn't degrade with time.
