I have a 77/50 that I haven't used in a few years and wondered if anyone out there has a pet load to share. I have been using Sierra's 240 JHC with a hornady sabot ahead of 100 grains of Pyodex pellets. Shoots fairly well @ 100. Appreciate your stuff, Smokere

Haven't shot my 77/50 in a few years but it shot about any bullet I put in it using 100 grs of pyro.
The load I liked the best was 100 grs pyro-select,185 nosler,and cci reg primers.
I saw on one of the boards that ruger was not makeing the 77/50 anymore,but don't know for sure.

owensby, thanks for your input. Good to hear most anything will work. Only reason for my combination was the bullet. I use it in my .44 mag. Hard to keep up with all the new components. Thanks, Smoker
