| I use Black Mag'3 with great results in my Omega. I prefer it to Pyrodex, APP, or 777. Burns very clean and in longer barrel rifles the velocity is very good. Also exibits low felt recoil for the velocity that is possible. |

| ML Keith- What load and bullet are you using?
I tried BM3 in my Omega with 250 and 300 SST's in Harvester sabots and couldn't get anything resembling a group. Having no luck, I went back to 777. |

| I use the same 300gr. sst and a short Harvester sabot on top of 90gr. volume of Black Mag'3. Some are finding that the ascorbic acid based powders are performing better if slightly compressed so seat the bullet and sabot firmly. DO NOT SWAB between shots for best accuracy. |

| Forgot to mention I am also using the .25ACP conversion with Winchester standard small rifle primers. |

| I've still got about 1/2 can of BM3, I'll give it another try seating the sabot/bullet a little firmer. I'm shooting an Omega with standard 209 primers currently, no .25 conversion.
Thanks. |

| I have seen a couple of reports that people got better results with the .25ACP conversion and probably the Kleenbore primers would be a good thing to try. I believe that a lot of the initial development of Black Mag'3 was done with #11 percussion caps so the 209 primers may be part of the problem. |
