OK here are some solutions that have not been mentioned in this thread as yet. I have an Omega which has basically the same barrel and breechplug as the Encore. Mine is stainless. You can do any of the following to help. Install the .25ACP (small rifle primer) conversion ($60.00 cost). You can switch to Black Mag3 powder which is what I did as a final solution. I found the .25ACP to fix about 80% of the 777 crud ring problem. With Black Mag3 I get multiple shots without a swab between, I get higher velocity over my chronograph than same volume of ffg 777 and the felt recoil is more comfortable. Higher velocity, lower (felt) recoil and no fouling to prevent multiple shots; you can't beat that result. Can you tell I am a big Black Mag3 fan? Just killed an Elk with 80gr. Black Mag3 under 295gr. Powerbelt. Shot completely through the chest cavity.
