.54 cal Lyman GPH w/1in32 twist and 1/60 twist. I'm still and somewhat slowly I might add working loads up for both barrels. And still can't remember when I've had so much fun. Good shooting! Mike

Where shall i start? I shoot in the North-South Skirmish Assocation and all we do is shoot blackpowder. I've been somewhat succesful in doing so (7 time national titles). All of my blackpowder rifles are of civil war pattern and are capable of astounding accuracy. 1. Tom Nixon built 1848 Mississippi Rifle (mounted ranger version) with a Hoyt Barrell .54 cal...holds 6 of these titles by itself. It's a 1" shooter @ 100 yds. Everything is original on the gun except the rear sight, front sight, the wood, and the barrell. 2. Another Nixon Built Mississippi identical to the above. 2. Larry Ramano 1st Model Maynard Carbine (w/tang sight) .50 cal 3. 2nd Model Mayanrd .50 cal (responsible for the other nat title) a 1" shooter @ 100 yds 3. 2nd Model Maynard 4. 1861 3 band springfield with a hoyt barrell on it 5. Harpers Ferry 2 band with a Whitacre barrell on it 6. two 2 band enfields, both are original parker-hales. One has a whitacre barrell and the other has a Hoyt Barrell 7. 1842 Springfield .69 cal smoothbore 8 & 9. 2 Roger and Spencer .44 cal pistols 10. 6 Remington pattern revolvers ranging from .360 cal to .440 cal 11. .54 cal Hawken rifle built by a good friend of mine 12. .400 cal TC renegade with a Green Mountain barrell on it (the gun weighs in at about 17 lbs...the perfect NMLRA smallbore offhand rifle) 13. Several BP shotguns 14. .44 cal Parker-hale Whitworth rifle 15. 12 lb coehorn pattern mortar Im sure i've left a few things out here and there. If it has to do with blackpowder, i've done it. I also have several offhand rifles that i haven't mentioned. once you've been bitten by the bug...its hard to get away. Ruck
