I have a lyman Deerstalker. I am shooting powerbelts and pyro as well. I sight in at 75. The longest shot I have taken at a deer was about 60 yds. I don't have to worry about hold over from 0 to about 125 yds with this setting. Works for me.

If you have the chance to shoot out to 100 and beyond, I would definitly sight in for 100.

W/ the Ball you will be alittle high at 50 but, not enough to miss a deer, just a couple of inches.

I would rather feel confident at 100. I would hate to know I was sighted in at 50 and had a Big Bruiser Buck standing at 110 yards during ML season and me wondering where it is going to hit at that distance.

Good Luck!
