Does anyone know if the new breech plug for the Endeavor will work with previous Encores??

I bought a Pro Hunter last year, which I like, but that new breech plug sounds Great!

I don't think it will fit an old barrel. The new plug is very much like the one on the Triumph. It extends well beyond the breech of the barrel. If removed, there is an open space between the barrel and the action face. I'll give them a better look tomorrow at work and let you know specifically, since they are beside each other on our gun rack.

I took a little time today to compare the prohunter and the endeavor. The barrels are interchangeable. That is, pro hunter barrels will fit an endeavor and endeavor barrels will fit a prohunter. I then confirmed this with promo info from TC. You would not be able to fit the endeavor plug in an encore barrel and still get the barrel to close in either frame.
There do appear to be some superfical differences in the finish of the endeavor frame from the encore. There is a polished surface on the endeavor that is not polished on the encore. The chevrons seem to be a bit bigger and fluffier on the endeavor. They are whiter than the grey ones on the encore.
Hope this helps
