Shot this 9 point opening day of early muzzleloader season here in Iowa. Small rack but big body. 250 lbs field dressed.  | ||

Used a Traditions Evolution, 100 grains (pyrodex pellets), and a Hornady 250gr SST. Shot was 60 yards and the deer ran 20. Shot the buck on his left side and had complete pass through, taking out both lungs and the top of the heart. The deer was shot 15 minutes into the legal season from the ground. | |||
