Nick, The FIRST muzzleloader I ever bought was a Traditions Lightning Bolt. To the day, it holds the title "Worst Muzzleloader I've owned." I bought that muzzleloader when the Lightning Bolt first came out. FIFTEEN MUZZLELOADERS LATER, it still holds that title! There are SEVERAL muzzleloaders in the $200.00 range that are MUCH better. The Knight Wolverine 209 is, in my opinion, the best muzzleloader you can buy for the money. It is accurate, easy to clean, had a good trigger, and it about as foolproof as any muzzleloader out there. You won't go wrong with the Wolverine 209. Also consider the NEF Sidekick. This is a VERY accurate muzzleloader, as accurate as my Omega in fact. Everything said about the Wolverine 209 can be said about the Sidekick. Another good one is the T/C Black Diamond. The Black Diamond was my second muzzleloader. It is so much better made/thought out than the Lightning Bolt you wouldn't believe it. I'm not quite as fond of it as I am the other two because it has a 2-piece breech plug, creepy trigger, and more parts to clean. STILL a better gun than the Lightning Bolt. I've given you three muzzleloaders in the $200.00 range that are MUCH better rifles than the Traditions. Wolverine 209 NEF Sidekick Black Diamond | ||
