I am planning a trip to Africa but have been told by several outfitters and PHs that real black powder may be difficult to get. I will be using flintlocks. Is this the case and is there a remedy or region I should be considering? Thanks.

I don't know where your headed but, RSA has Wano brand BP. It's sold in the US as Shutezen or Grafs and Sons house brand...It's all the same stuff. I contacted the factory in Germany and found out for sure.
It is my understanding that a outfitter in RSA must have the proper paperwork to be able to purchase it, but other than that it is no problem. I'm going in August with a muzzleloader and I found a good company so E-mail me if you want more info. huntidaho@msn.com
