A few years ago I bought my uncles Tracker 209. I shot it a few times using 120gr. equivalent 777 loose powder. I recently bought some 777 50gr. pellets to try out. Is this gun capable of safely shooting 3 pellets or should I stick with 2 pellets? I am using 250gr. T/C shock wave bullets. I have heard conflicting info from friends of mine on this. Greg

My Tracker is a "magnum" and is rated for 3 pellets. I only shoot two (in any of my inlines) however, because it seems to me that what you gain most by the third pellet is recoil. If the negative stuff you've read originated with Randy Wakeman, ignore it. I understand he works for Savage, and goes around from board to board trashing everyone else's rifles. Hunting is Exciting! Bolt Actions are BORING! Don't Mix the Two!
