Redhawk1Black Powder Subs
small fish, there is nothing wrong with modern powder, that is why we use them in cartridges that it was intended for.
The concept of the muzzleloader for hunting was to use BP or BP substitutes for the primitive weapons season. Smokeless powder should be used in a cartridge. That is just my opinion.
Most M/L are not designed for smokeless powder and I don't trust any M/L with smokeless powder, even the infamous Savage. My choice, I guess.
I am glad that most states don't let people use smokeless powder during the M/L season. Next we will be using cartridges in the primitive season. Then it will no longer be a primitive weapon season. Get where I am going here?
