I second MCB's suggestion. Or build one yourself.

Wallace Gussler (whose name I have undoubtedly mangled) is a wonderful smith of these rifles in Williamsburg.

John Bivins - incredible rifles.

But there are many others. There are also some not so great builders.

Don Brown - I think it's Don anyway, in California, has a superb reputation for making great English percussion rifles. I do no know if he makes flinters or not.

But building it yourself is a wonderful way to go. I'll never trade mine away, though it is no Bivins.
